An ultra high-end road frame set, handmade in Denmark of Principia’s butted black anodized 7020 aluminum tubing! Principia uses variable diameter elliptically shaped tubes. The welds are a work of art as you can see! This build features an Isaac carbon fork. Size 56/57 cm.
The retail price, for frame and fork alone was $2,199.00 !

I have ridden and love my identical Principia Ellipse since 2001 . . . it is still perfect! Had opportunity to grab this new frame from a distributor in Chicago and so built it up to match my other beloved Principia Ellipse - which I’ve been riding for 17 years now.
After almost two decades on Principia hand made aluminum I can now compare it to the DEDACCIAI TEMERARIO carbon frame, which I purchased and built up 2 years ago now.
Anyone would be hard pressed to find any difference in ride quality. The carbon bike has a retail value of almost $8,000.00! I’ll tell you which one I worry about “exploding” one day; and it is not the Principia! That’s why my other, 17 year old Principia Ellipse, will be with me for . . . ever!
